Q: Where are you located and do you travel?

A: I’m located in Louisville, Kentucky, and I’m happy to travel within the US. Contact me for billing, it's surprisingly affordable to have me travel to you!

Q: What is your photographic style?

A: My style is largely journalistic, with bits of fine art flair throughout. I love the bright and colorful look. I can be a bit sneaky to get those candid shots, but I still believe there’s a time and place for lovely posed photos.

Q: How do we book you to photograph our wedding or for a photo session?

A: Your date is reserved when I have a signed contract and payment of the 50% non-refundable retainer. Dates are booked first come first served.

Q: Do you have back up gear and insurance?

A: Absolutely! I have a backup camera, lenses and flashes so that I am prepared for anything. I also have liability insurance, which many venues require from vendors.

Q:  Do we have to do the engagement session included with our wedding collection?

A: You don't have to, but I highly recommend it. Not only will you have the chance to get to know me and get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day, you'll also have the opportunity use the beautiful photos we capture for other wedding stationery/decor. These complimentary sessions cannot be traded in for other session types or passed to someone else.

Q: Is everyone welcome to your services?

A: Of course! I provide services to all people regardless of their ethnicity, nationality, gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation. I do not discriminate against any groups and welcome all who are interested in my services.

Q: Do you work with a second shooter on wedding days?

A: If you've booked 8+ hours of wedding day coverage, yes. You may also choose to add a photographer to your package for $50/hour if one is not already included.

Q: Do I have to order prints through you?

A: I highly recommend ordering prints through my professional vendors, but it is not required. The difference in quality is HUGE when it comes to ordering through a local printer versus a professional lab, so I encourage clients to let me help with prints!

Q: Your prices aren't quite in my budget, can we work something out?

A: Please contact me so we can discuss your situation. I will do my very best to put together a custom package that fits your needs!

Q: What did you take into consideration when setting your prices?

A: My prices are based on several things:
- cost of gear
- time spent shooting
- time spent editing
- editing software
- travel
- marketing
- continued education
- experience and talent
- assistant/second shooter
- client communication/planning
- online gallery service

Q: What about rescheduling, cancellations, and other concerns related to covid-19?

A: If you have to reschedule your wedding or session for reasons related to covid-19, either by your own choice or because of government orders, I will not charge a rescheduling fee. I will work with you to find a new date. If we are unable to find a new date that works for both our schedules, I will help you find a different photographer that is available. If I get sick, I will let you know as soon as possible, and will help you find a different photographer. Should you decide to cancel all together for reasons related to covid-19, the 50% retainer fee you paid upon booking remains non-refundable. However, if you've already paid your balance in full, a refund amount will be determined based on the time I've spent preparing for the event. This includes, but is not limited to, pre-wedding/session communications, development of timelines, and preparation of gear for the event.

I am always taking lots of precautions to keep myself safe and healthy. I am vaccinated. I avoid going out in public whenever possible, and wear a mask when I do have to venture out. I keep everything clean and sanitized.  I wash my hands often, and use hand sanitizer. I also get tested regularly. It is of utmost importance to me to ensure the safety of myself and my clients.

On your wedding/session day, I may be wearing a mask. If someone needs a small adjustment during group photos, I may ask whoever is nearest to them to help, instead of getting in close myself. There will be small tweaks made to my normal workflow to help us adhere to the social distancing guidelines. I will do my very best to ensure these precautions don't interfere with the vision you have for your photos.
