I was recently asked by District 21 Councilwoman Nicole George to photograph the Beechmont Summer Concert Series. This event was brought back by the request of many Beechmont residents, after being a well attended event in the 80's. The Concert Series is designed as a free, outdoor musical experience at the Woodlawn Gazebo with artists/bands from the Louisville Federation of Musicians (Local 11-637). Those who attend get to experience the beauty of the Olmstead Parkway while having a great time with their neighbors and supporting local music.
I've had so much fun meeting and snapping photos of my fellow "Beechmontians" (I think I just made that word up 😂). Shout out to all the sponsors of this wonderful event:
